- How to become a free member
- Step 1: Registration link on the Gigajob Home Page
In the top right hand corner of the Home Page, you can find the "Register"-button. A new user can register through this link. You can also use the link "Register now for FREE!" below the title " New to Gigajob?" on the main page.
- Step 2: Become a member
After you click "Register", a new page will open. Here you must enter your valid e-mail address (e.g. user@domain.in), password, retype password and click "Register Now". An e-mail from Gigajob will be sent to your e-mail address containing an activation link. Click this activation link to log in to Gigajob. - Step 3: Log into Gigajob
Log into Gigajob with your e-mail address and the password you have selected. If you haven't received an e-mail from Gigajob containing the activation link in your inbox, please check the Spam or Junk folder. - Step 4: You are successfully registered and logged in.
On the Gigajob homepage, your e-mail address will be displayed on the top right hand corner next to the "Logout" option. If you can see your e-mail on the page, your login was successful. Now you can use our free Gigajob services. Have fun!

- How to search for an employer
- To search for job vacancies can be so easy: You are looking for a job as a HR Manager in Sydney? Then simply fill in the job "HR Manager" in the space "What?" and "Sydney" in the space "Where?". Then click on "Search Jobs" and many results for HR Managers needed in Sydney will appear instantly.
In the second column, you can now refine your search. For example, you can sort your matches according to age of posting or distance. To enlarge or minimize your radius (e.g. search for HR Managers needed in Sydney plus 50km radius) click on "Radius".

Then save your search.
How to proceed: Fill in the spaces "What?" (e.g. HR Manager) and "Where?" (e.g. Sydney) and click on "Search Jobs". Above and below the results, you will now find a link that reads "create e-mail alert". Just click on the link and your search entries will be saved. We will now send you the most recent job vacancies for your search. This service is completely free.

You can also save multiple results. To manage your results just click on "My Gigajob" on the top right hand corner of the page and then on "My Jobs". Here you can pause or delete your job offers.

- You have found an interesting job vacancy and want to apply for it now?
Click on "Click to Apply" on the page of your job offer to get to the application form. Fill in the space "Your message" with your application for the job. Then attach your application (e.g. as .doc or .pdf) by clicking on "Browse".
Now choose whether you want to see the preview or send it directly to the employer.

- You have found an interesting job vacancy and want to "remember" it to apply lat a later time? Then simply click on "Bookmark" in your search results or in the job vacancy itself.
By clicking on the button "My Gigajob" on the top right hand corner, you can get to "My Bookmarks". There you will find all job vacancies that you have bookmarked before.

- You want to see what you recently searched for at Gigajob? Click on "My Gigajob" on the top right hand corner of the page and then on "My Recent Searches".
- Recently viewed job vacancies
- You want to see which job vacancies you have recently viewed on Gigajob? Click on "My Gigajob" on the top right hand corner of the page and then on "Recently Viewed".
- Recently contacted employers
- You want to see which job vacancies you have recently contacted at Gigajob? Click on "My Gigajob" on the top right hand corner of the page and then on "Recently Contacted".

How to proceed:
Click on the link "Post Job/Resume". Click on " I am an employer" on the following site. Fill out the form carefully and click on "Finish". A few minutes later your job offer will be online.

- How to search for a job applicant
- Find a suitable job candidate in no time:
Click on "I am looking for Resumes". Describe the job or category you are seeking in the "What?" search box. After entering the initial letters the Gigajob Search Function will provide suggestions for your search item. If the desired search item is already listed with us, you may select it. If you know the reference number (e.g. 12.743.530) you can use this search engine to locate the listing directly.
Enter details such as postal area code, city, state, or country in the search box "Where?" After entering the initial letters, the Gigajob Search Function will provide suggestions for your search term. If the desired region is already listed with us, you may select it. After you have entered the relevant information, click on "Search Resumes" to get the search results.

Here is how it works:
Fill out the search boxes "What?" and "Where?". Click on "Search Resumes". Above and below the results you will now find a link "create e-mail alert". Just click on the link and your seach entries will be saved. We will now send you the most recent job applicants of your seach.
This service is completely free. After all we would like you to find a new employee as soon as possible!

- You can use the function to contact applicants directly.
You found suitable profiles of applicants and you would like to introduce your job offer directly to them?
Click on the button "Contact Now" on the applicant's Gigajob profile to proceed to the contact form. Use the "Your Message" box to type in your message. You can even attach additional files (e.g. information about your enterprise) if you wish simply by clicking on the "Browse" button.
Now choose whether to preview your message first or send it directly.

If possible try to refer to the job offer that you have published on our site. For example, you can use the number of your job offer that you received by e-mail when we activated your job offer (e.g. 11.528.279).

- You want to see which applicant's profiles you recently contacted at Gigajob? Click on "My Gigajob" on the top right hand corner of the page and then on "Recently Contacted".
